Mallacoota and District for Yes is a community-focused group of local residents across Mallacoota, Genoa, Gipsy Point and the surrounding district.
We are committed to:
- supporting the Yes vote in the upcoming Australian constitutional referendum for a Voice to Parliament
- encouraging others to seek to make a carefully informed decision as to how they will vote.
The Uluru Statement from the Heart states:
In 1967 we were counted, in 2017 we seek to be heard. We leave base camp and start our trek across this vast country. We invite you to walk with us in a movement of the Australian people for a better future.
To vote Yes is to accept this invitation, a significant step towards uniting our country and making it a fairer, more just community for everyone.
